Recent exhibitions have included

- Presentation to the Mayor and Councillors of Castello d'Empurias of "Bust of a Young Girl"
- Bascara: The small town of Bascara on the N-II between Figueras and Girona is famous throughout Spain for its Pessebre, or Living Nativity Play, which although based on much earlier traditions, has been held here in modern times since 1973. More details are on:

At Christmas 2008 the Ajuntament - the Town Council - invited three local artists, of whom Jan was one, (the others being Joan Abella and Isidre Hurtós) to display their work in a small gallery within the Town Hall.
The photographs below show the installation after completion of Jan's work. Some of Joan and Isidre's superb woodcarvings may also be seen. And Isidre also made the stands for Jan's sculptures.

- St Genis de Fontaines: The Eleventh Symposium of Catalan Sculpture, 2009.
Jan was one of 22 sculptors selected from an inital listing of over 70 artists to show her work at the 11 ème Symposium Catalan de Sculpture de Saint-Génis des Fontaines (Saint Cyprien, Roussilon, France) from July 17th to August 5th this year.
The Symposium, superbly organised by the Lions Club of St Cyprian(President Claude Fontaine) held a Vernisage on July 16th at which invited guests attended.
Jan was awarded the Lion's Club Prize of Honour for her work "Chiron the Centaur" - see elsewhere on this site - one of only two prizes awarded by the Symposium.
The presentation, including M.Raymond Lopez, Mayor of St Genis de Fontaine; Mme Jacqueline Irles, Deputy Mayor, Villeneuve de la Raho; M. Claude Fontaine, President, Lions Club; M. Pierre Aylagas, Councillor-General, Argeles, and Mme Mauricette Fabre, Councillor-General, Côte Radieuse.
- Empuriabrava: For two weeks in December 2009 the Empuriabrava Hotel "Xon's Playa" held a retrospective of the friends of Emporda - "Els Amics de l'Emporda". Despite being well out of the tourist season, approximately 200 people attended the Vernisage. Jan as a founder member of the group exhibited five paintings and seven sculptures, which were featured prominently on a program on Emporda TV, narrated by woodcarver Isidre Hurtos from Bascara, shown here with Jan in front of her Castello d'Empurias street scene.
